Harrier Fences & Landscaping provides a complete range of property fence consultation, design and installation services.
We build wooden, metal, chainlink and security fences and bespoke gates for both residential and commercial customers.
Areas we cover include Lincolnshire around Market Deeping, Cambridgeshire and Rutland.
Having spent over 20 years in the IT services industry, customer service, communication, honesty, trust and business integrity is a key part of our business approach. Our numerous Google reviews are testament to our highest levels of service and quality builds.
We operate a Consult/Design/Build/Admire approach:
Consult: We talk to our customers about what they want to achieve and jointly view what sits in the Harrier portfolio as well as what products are available in the market as an agreeable build.
Design: We provide our customers with a statement of works that details the fence and or landscaping build project and build details.
Build: We jointly have a walk through to discuss the build where we identify areas that might need extra care and attention such as plants/bushes. We encourage our customers to view the work throughout the build to ensure they are happy with the work.
We operate a site tidy policy where all waste materials are initially cleared. The site is tidied at the end of each day and during the build walking mats are placed across heavy walking areas to ensure grassed areas are kept intact.
Admire: enjoy and admire the look of a new fence and garden.

A fallen tree destroyed a well established hedge that had provided cover and privacy for many years. The closeboard fence provided a solid barrier with the 4 feet of trellis allowing vegetative cover over time.

A particularly difficult build installing a concrete posted solution on a steep slope. To enable the build we had to use 10 feet slotted concrete posts and multiple gravel boards to cater for the steepness of the slope.
Harrier Fences was tasked with building a 300 metre stock fence to include multiple field gates to contain livestock in a number of fields. The fence had heavy duty 3 feet high wire installed with 2 single runs of barbed wire installed at the top of each post.
Harrier Fences was tasked with attaching 500 metres of chainlink to the bottom of an existing Chainlink fence. A trench had to be dug along the length of the run, the chainlink attached and the trench filled back in and flattened.
The fence on the main road for the Marlow Sports Club had become somewhat dilapidated and Harrier Fences were tasked with replacing a 130 metres section running to the Tennis Club. The install was a concrete morticed and closeboard solution.
The customer had an unsafe elevated pathway to the garden from the raised patio area. Harrier Fences was tasked to build a contemporary designed handrail which exceeded our client's expectations.
The metal post (Durapost) design with the Double Slatted panel and a composite gravel board offered a unique contemporary look for the customer across a 20 panel run.
The customer's goal was to plant bamboo so the whole area had to be cleared of vegetation and a concrete posted fence with 6 foot x 6 foot of trellis installed to allow a good spread of vegetation.
Concrete posts and concrete gravel boards with a closeboard hand built panel across a 3 metre bay. A solid long lasting solution that is a favourite with our customers where a long run has to be installed. Note in this picture we have built around a tree.
The overlap panel is an entry level budget panel that can still last more than 10 years. We typically install theses panels with 4 inch posts vs 3 inch posts. The 4 inch posts are marginally more expensive than the 3 inch but last 3/4 times longer.
Harrier Fences offers a bespoke design service where we can alter standard off the shelf panels or hand build bespoke fences from scratch. The fence in the picture was a build for a school where circular holes were cut in the panels and perspex attached to allow a safe view of the nature area.
Closeboard fence panels are a heavier duty solution vs an overlap panel. We install the panels with 4 inch posts to give you a longer lasting solution i.e. more than 15 years.
The closeboard fence is a rugged long lasting solution built from scratch. Harrier Fences in this instance has installed trellis to the top of the fence.

The longest lasting solution in our portfolio. The concrete slotted posts and concrete gravel boards have an indefinite life whilst the closeboard panels would last more than 15 years. The beauty of the slotted post option is the ease to replace a panel should you need to.
The picture shows a Post and Rail fencing build opposite Bisham Abbey. A cost effective barrier fence which we typically build at the front of properties or in fields and paddocks.
We typically build these fences in fields to contain livestock or at the end of gardens that back onto open fields. With wire attached this can contain pets whilst not obscuring views
We build these to contain livestock in fields. The picture denotes a 300 metre run with heavy duty wire and 2 lines of barbed wire to contain cows.
Field gates can be installed at domestic properties as per the picture or in farm/field environments alongside the field based stock fencing.
An attractive and cost effective solution for your property where privacy is not the main consideration but perhaps where pets need to be contained.
